Wes! I occasionally catch your Syntax podcast (which is great). This type of shorts format is so ideal. I just shared this video with my whole team. Perfectly short, sweet, and immediately useful.

THANK FUCK! I hate having to open a new instance to move a reference file to the other screen!

I guess I'm a terminal jockey but I love having it down there for whatever. Moar terminal

Is that are features? I mean Visual Studio is doing it for a while. Can't even tell for how long. If such things are "cool features", then switch to proper IDE. You will be shocked o)

So you can make a separate window for your terminal .... like a terminal window ? This is the same thing when this company "invented" sea gliders to move ships.

Congrats on going full circle your back to where you started.

Like having an actual terminal open was not an option, cool feature but nothing new

Only thing stopping me from using this is that floating windows aren’t stored when you change workspaces. Would be a game-changer if I could have a terminal window auto-appear and not have to re-open it every time I swap projects

Seems to be a killer feature for a text editor. I prefer IDEs and those usually can do that.

Only downside is that you're now coding in a glorified text editor rather than a real IDE.

1 step of the 1000s left towards of becoming an actual IDE.
