Flannels and guests celebrated in style as the official launch party took place on Wednesday 6th April 2011 to mark the unveiling of the new Flannels Spinningfields flagship store on The Avenue, Manchester luxury retail quarter.
The stunning new 20,000sq ft concept store is set across two floors, and launches a new format in terms of design and product mix, offering a collection of top international designers including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Tom Ford, Carven, Raoul, Lanvin, Ermenegildo Zegna, Canali, Giambattista Valli, Matthew Williamson, Temperley, Diane Von Furstenberg, Acne and many more.
In attendance were friends, customers and special guests. The evening will also saw a guest performance by Frisky & Mannish, who made special one off appearance outside of their current tour, The College Years, and delighted crowds with an installment of their flamboyant pop posturing and music-mash-ups.
Beautiful themed drinks including White Cosmopolitan Orchid cocktails for the ladies and Antica Tom Collins for the gentlemen were served while guests enjoyed English style canapés including mini newspaper wrapped fish & chips, mini burgers and cottage pies all provided by The Alchemist, a specialist cocktail bar and brasserie situated in Spinningfields. As an additional treat guests also enjoyed His and Her cupcakes specially made by Hey Little Cupcake!
