Happy to say Ireland is introducing FREE HRT to all women who are prescribed it from this month on 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My normal gp was away and I got to see a lovely young female doctor. She said that if men had to go through menopause there would be early retirement, free medication and well publicised support groups for anyone dealing with menopause symptoms.

My mom had a total hysterectomy at 40 years old. No cancer diagnosis or anything, just heavy periods.
Her doctors didn’t give her HRT.
The only symptoms she talked to me about as a teen were her debilitating panic attacks. She had several trips to the ER because she thought her heart was going to explode. They always told her she was fine.
Her entire personality changed. She was always angry at home, and she had osteoporosis and severe spinal stenosis simultaneously. The dementia followed not long after that.

Thank you. At 64 years old, I saw a gynecologist for the first time in 10 years. Told her I couldn't take the hot flashes 10-15 times a day and night sweats. I'm on HRT and feel better than I have in years.

100% I just went on it. I can sleep and have no burning flashes literally. I went online and took control not waiting for an uneducated doctor to help me.

Dr Haver, not sure if you get to read my comment, I wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart from the other side of the world for all your tireless work in highlighting awareness, debunking myths and promoting well-being for postmenopausal women. I have only been following you for a few months but I have watched most of all your videos, took on all your advice including supplements. Please keep doing what you do best. We appreciate you. Happy 2025 and stay blessed 🫶🏻🩵 xx

Just make sure you're also having the conversation about the very real risk of blood clots. My risk factor (in relation to the hormones) was migraines with aura. I survived bilateral pulmonary embolism (multiple blood clots in both lungs) after taking them for a few years. I'm extremely lucky I didn't just drop dead. You hear them say "risk of blood clots", but you don't compute what that means until you can't breathe.

I want to personally thank you for putting this information out there. It led me to have this conversation with my own doctor and get hrt. It’s made a big, positive difference in my life. Thank you again!

Yes it did and I have had doctor's male and female tell me to stop taking it because of breast cancer concern. I told them don't speak it over me and I will continue to take it.

My mother developed breast cancer from HRT. She went through radiation and chemotherapy. Please make sure you truly understand the risks.

I’m on an Estrogen patch that I LOVE! But, with no other risk factors, my young female GP just told me: “We really like you to get off of this as soon as you can.” I smiled and nodded. Noted. 😊

HRT saved my life and my sanity. And it was just by fate/accident i stumbled upon a female GP who believed in HRT and tried it out on herself. And offered CLASSES to her patients to explain their own bodies to them (who remembers 9th grade bio ?). And periodically invited patients on HRT to meet up and group discuss results. She just retired last year at age 70 (looking like the 60 yr old doctor I initially met). Her name is Velinda Paranel in Santa Monica. Even tho she came up as a doctor in the era that threw off HRT and went off the rails —she saw if for the positives and the science. I thought I was losing my mind b4 I went on HRT. The WEEK I started the exhausting and debilitating inferno “flashes” stopped cold. Thank you for getting this important medical information out to women. I will NEVER go off HRT❤

I did HRT for several years. Best decision ever! I also had a great gynecologist.

The doctor forced my mum to go through menopause with absolutely nothing to help her, she had a full hysterectomy at 29 and she's still struggling at 66 with still no medication, they said HRT causes cancer so wouldn't give her anything and I'm 44 and I'm having issues I can't get the doctor to acknowledge. It's still the same nearly 40 years on, it's not acceptable to keep discounting what we experienced or are experiencing.
