the dual rotary encoders like those on the g3x touch are amazing for dialing in altitudes headings etc in turbulence. The new GDUs should have the duel knob, soft keys, and the raised lip to anchor your fingers like the old ones. I feel touch interaction though the main pfd would just be awkward and prone to error for data entry when you are bouncing around in a busy cockpit.
