The Image:
Keen angler (!) Allan Gray arrives at a small village near Courtempierre only to be almost immediately catapulted into a Scooby-Doo like mystery with endless shadows, scythes and signs galore (but no Scooby snacks, unfortunately).
I love it all: the bit with the key turning (0:52-) is quite famous I think, but it is all marvellous - and high gothic.
Other famous images (I think) @0:43.
I think the sequence of Gray walking along the river bank is exquisitely beautiful (1:39-) [Edited slightly]
