@Tristan Chroma: I own all 3 - Ohmicide, FF Saturn and the first version of Trash. They each have different strengths and features. With Trash 1 and now this new version especially, you're paying for the amazing library of amp emulations, the quality of the processing, the flexibility and genius (imho) of their choice of modules. Now the convolution module in Trash 2.

Don't let the App Store skew your perception of real world economic value. $250 is a BARGAIN for this plug! :-)

So that sound pre-trash2 ... Is it just a simply sine wave? That would be pretty dope! Or is it like a guitar or something? Were you able to create the stereo field effect within trash 2 itself as well? What would I have to do to get that SAME exact sound? would I be able to do that with just trash 2 and, say... A clean guitar recording and no other effects?

I'll definitely be going for this upgrade. One thing that would be handy is a basic tuner for the occasions I use it as a guitar amp module.

Izotope Trash 2 is better! You get the same features as with Ohmicide only in a more intuitive interface and with a broader sonic pallette. Plus, Izotope is just a more intuitive company with more audio expertise. Ohm Force may have a nice branding tool to market their products, but they onlly create plug-ins that can do one thing well.

This is very good for digital distortion. Despite it's convolution section, nothing beats an actual cabinet. Bias as that may sound, I definitely see the usefulness here. Using Guitar Rig or Amplitube and many other plugins do the job in that regard. Or use a real cabinet. To each his own.

you a new version of trash that should not called trash it should be called Junk or garbage, , , Trash 2 is legendary especially with percussions.. no plugin out there can be compared to trash2 when mixing percussions, , , believe me guys, trash2 is legendary, , thanks for the developers and engineers that worked on it....
