After the cleaning I had to erase the warning with the Diagbox and... problem solved.

Good thing to use is 3RG brand "Stop Crystal" as it prevents the adblue system from crystallizing and cleans and keeps injector clean and also cleans any crystals from within scr catalyst. 25ml is added to 10L of adblue. We use this in our peugeot workshop and prevents the issues

Here’s a new one for you. My 2019 2.0hdi Relay has had an ad-blue error flash up constantly for about 3 months. The DTC’s pointed towards low pressure and therefore a broken pump requiring a complete new tank and pump at great expense. My alternator packed up 4 days ago, since changing the alternator the ad-blue fault has not returned. Previously I could clear the fault code but after a few miles it would return. I’ve driven about 250 miles since changing the alternator and no sign of the fault!

My 2019 Vauxhall Combo has broken down 6 times in 2024 with this problem. After the 6th time, looked on eBay and Amazon and never had a problem since adding an additive to the adblu BEFORE filling the adblu tank. There are 6 or 7 different brands with DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS, including 3RG Industrial, Forte, Wynns, Maumo International, Tec4, Dynamax etc. Product names vary like "anti crystal additive cleaner" and "adblu exhaust crystal preventer". Around £12 to £20 per bottle .

The whole system should be serviceable, hot water dissolves urea crystals. Manufacturers should make a way to drain the tank, add hot water and then let it pass through the injector. The whole process would take about 40 mins, or less if part of a general service. Just had my tank replaced (Citroen GP). I noticed the injector was blocked and possibly caused this issue with the tank. I’ve now bought adblue additive to prevent crystals forming - if it work!

Citroen Jumper 2.0 HDI 163PS. AdBlue Message in Cockpit and OBD info that NOX is making problems. Cleaning fixed the problem. Thanks

Peugeot Expert: got a "faulty emissions control system". Dealer cleared the error and said if it comes back (it did, immediately) would have to replace the adblue tank. Should I take a look at the injector?!

I am having issues with my adblue system.
Why dose the 497 refill message, not change, when I drive my van for 100 miles, the same message is on dashboard 497 to refill and with the malfunction message.

hi! i've got 2020DS diesel 150hp mhev - 67tkm odo (i drive only 3 months 3700km) - "check engine" light appeared. Car at official JLR now. They say, "adblue heat pipe broken, need replacement". no any more info regarding the issue from them. the heck could happen to the pipe? could it be it just needed cleaning? will the new pipe brake without a cause too?
