Beyblade X - Advance Launch Strategies - 'Reverse X-Dash'

The Reverse X-Dash was first seen used in Japan. It's recently been popularized by Kei from the World Beyblade Organization in the Ontario Beyblade Community with his crazy wins against attack type users in tournaments with this Reverse X-Dash strategy.

This is best used against attackers you know will easily win against your stamina bey if you do a straight launch. Also best used if you know your opponent likes to do more of a tilted launch with their attacker instead of a flat launch. Flat launches are a bit more dangerous for this strategy but overall still really good and probably still better than just flat launching against super aggressive attackers.

I was taught this at a tournament recently. If you can ride around to the other side without being hit you can dodge attack types until they're out of stamina

I've been doing this by accident simply just by owning wizard rod... Glad to know how to really use it, hope to apply to defense types like Leoncrest and make Whale Wave tankier utilizing this soon

Dang, i was late haha! Well, theres always the next few techs to cover! Great video as always, its great to see more people figuring this kinda stuff out, really cool people are finally taking launch positioning seriously. This is also a really good tech with KS, specifically KS Rush, as smaller gears and smaller flat tip let it basically reverse snipe attack from the opposite side.

Phoenix wing due to its weight is very good with this style of launch too, as its a deadly mixup with its high attack potential. If they try and counter the reverse ridge ride, you can just exploit that and mix them up.

If it were any other Bey aside from Wizard Rod this would be eating too much spin. First: you can hear the gear teeth not connecting, which is extra friction (eats spin), Second you're making it travel clockwise and Right spin naturally wants to move counter - clockwise.

Feels like a move specific to WR.

Damn, i've been doing this trick for couple months, and i thought no one will discuss about this..i use this trick to avoid extreme dash from opponents and it does works 🤣

I like it and manage to pull this one from the X side, however since it is slow movement until you bey reaches the safe side, your bey ends up staying in the path of an attacker first xtreme dash (the most violent one) for way too long. Shark Edge loves that and once it catches my bey, takes it for a ride around the xtreme line and puts it right into the left pocket with ease, or makes low resistance bits come off my bey (due to it being forced to extreme dash at an attacker rate) or tosses it around the stadium making it hit the back and/or left wall, taking a huge bite of stamina and balance out of my bey.
Wizard Rod with its superior stamina and weight may afford dealing with those risks, but other beys are in for a treat.

You must tell them that reverse X dash is easy when using string launcher, im using winder launcher and its hard to do reverse x dash
