The name TWR is legendary in the world of motor racing and performance cars. Remember the Jaguar victory at Le Mans in 1988, or the XJR15 and XJ220 road cars. There are many to list. Well the TWR name is reborn with the TWR Supercat. A reimagining of the Jaguar XJS powered by a Supercharged V12 with 660 horsepower.

I got to spend the day with the TWR Team. Led by the son of Tom Walkinshaw, Fergus and a John Kane the team also includes Khysyl Saleem and Magnus Walker.

This video was made with the support of Michelin and filmed and edited by Torque More Productions.

somewhat ironic that this video is published on the day jaguar 'rebranded' and deliberatly destroyed its own history

TWR without an XJS would not be TWR. Brilliant.

Now that is what you call a car no hybrid powetrain or batteries under the floor, pure unadulterated design incorporated into automotive excellence. The guys behind this should be applauded wherever they go as they have created a masterpiece.

I think that saying “ If I won the Lottery I wouldn’t tell anybody but there would be signs” 😂
A XJS actually done right 👍Modern systems old school styling 👌

Fantastic to see at least someone making an ice jaguar especially after the JLR decision to stop making all ICE jaguars and only have SUV EVs from 2026. Another great British car brand going down the pan!

I love the wheels. I dislike the body kit. But I love the concept

Oddly, I think Mad Max looks better than the finished article which is a bit OTT for my taste.

Have to admit that the design is pretty special. For me, if I could afford one, I'd get a dialed down test mule with the beautiful interior of the final car. Mad Max any time! Great video keeping the final car to the end and showing the 'steps of development' first. Loved it!

I’m a TWR XJS owner in Australia and this gets the blood flowing. XJS is stamped in Walkinshaw DNA and Bathurst 84-85. Brilliant. Keep it coming. Walkinshaw what a brand

I used to live on the estate next to Tom Walkinshaw when i was a kid. Every so often you could hear them winding up some kind of sports car along their private road. They weren't quiet neighbours...

Love to see the XJS getting some power. Awesome that they continued with the Jag V12. Great video.

Lovely car. As a young apprentice toolmaker, some 40 odd years ago, I did quite a bit of work on the mold for the sump plate casting that runs the length of the underside of the V12. If it’s post 1983 on the date stamp, it’ll be one of mine.

Very cool & unusual to be allowed to see, much less hands on with a "mule". Brilliant.

Disappointed they didn't put a stick man saint on the bonnet. (Oh come on, we all had that Corgi XJS didn't we?? 😃)

Fergus, your dad would be so proud of you... this is utterly epic in every way. The antithesis of what 'Jaguar' have turned themselves into. It's a car that the enjoyment of driving has been designed into rather than out of. Wow ! I wish you guys success in sales... there will be enough people out there wanting something like this to make the business model work.

This is the Future of Jaguar. Great video & thanks for sharing. I would like to see the 6 litre version.

What a great video Pete. Certainly cheered me up and gave me positive vibes about Jaguars, albeit the Supercat is another level and some. Stopped me thinking about the Teletubbies vibe that Jaguar have been sharing for their new EV. Well done TWR and for me that interior is to die for.
