One of These Days" is the opening track from Pink Floyd's 1971 album Meddle. The composition is instrumental except for the only spoken (or sung) line from drummer Nick Mason, "One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces." It features double-tracked bass guitars played by David Gilmour and Roger Waters,[3] with each bass hard panned into one channel of stereo, but one bass sound is quite muted and dull. According to Gilmour, this is because that particular instrument had old strings on it, and the roadie they had sent to get new strings for it wandered off to see his girlfriend instead.

Can we all agree that Guy Pratt deserves mad props for his work on this tour and the Pulse tour? Big shoes to fill, and the man came in and played to win!

When I saw Floyd live, this song absolutely put the entire crowd in a trance.

David Gilmour simply nailed It. Awesome performance from the whole band. One of the best versions of this song, for sure. Pink Floyd rules.

I think the new restored Delicate sound of thunder concert is the best film document that you can buy of Pink Floyd.

Many prefer the Pulse. But the Delicate Sound of Thunder is more representative for recording shows the return of Pink Floyd in the late 80. The musicians who accompanied him, as well as female vocalists were younger. They gave the band a more energetic sound. More rock!

The guitar is so heavy. I remember when I first heard it as a teen I couldn't believe it. Sheer awe... Still grabs me.

The best trancer's ever put on this planet to perform for humanity...now we are older and still can't get enough...if only they were not meer mortals...there songs, lyrics, instrumental prowess and consument talent shall live on in perpetuity...if you where lucky enough to see them live, it was truly an inspiration of what is capable of the human condition.Salute to Pink Floyd, thanks 👍 for the memories, truly amazing!!!

I saw this in Atlanta in 1987. Best concert ever, and I've been to many.
Also the bed on a wire during Learning to Fly. These guys were so over the top.

Seeing DG at the Royal Albert Hall was one of the highlights of my life. My dad saw Floyd a few times. I missed out. Tell ya though, Brit Floyd & Australian Pink Floyd & Think Floyd all put on a bloody good show if you can get to see them. Enjoy ❤

The light show of the circular projection screen and the lights around the perimeter is one of the best I've ever seen. An incredible idea. It's stunningly beautiful and exciting. These designers are as good at their own game as the musicians are at theirs.
