In the US, I believe a lot of motorists suffer from a condition called anti-stationwagonism. Most American drivers just don’t buy them, which is a shame, but here in Europe, they have had a long enduring love affair with what many people in the industry agree are practical, stylish vehicles.

I love hatchbacks and wagons. They are so much better than SUVs and Crossovers. I wish more people bought them

Was torn between the V60 and V90 CC. Went with a used V90 for a little extra space and love it. Wagons are very practical and would be a great option for the large majority of people who never actually take their SUVs off road. Also, the ground clearance on these is similar or better than a lot of crossovers. I like that I own a vehicle that is unique and rarely seen on the road.

We have a 2022. We love it. There is a dynamic mode which I guess would translate to "sport" mode. It really does feel like a solid vehicle so far (17000mi) since being purchased literally at the end of 2021. Only issues we've had are the headlight and fog lights developing condensation inside. Both replaced by the dealer under warranty. No issues after being replaced.

I was wondering why people choose crossovers over wagons, then I saw the price of the few wagons we have left. I don't think it's fair to say that Americans kill the wagon anymore, especially when in many cases I can get a full size SUV for the same price as a wagon.

Thats what we Swedes want. An AWD wagon with around 200bhp. However diesels are more common, but that’s changing towards hybrids. If you compare a crossover with a wagon, the boot space is usually bigger with the wagon.

That is the best SUV ever
Room, economy, great interior, AWD, ground clearance. And will pull a small trailer.
That is probably going to be our next "car"

I've always loved Volvo wagons but unfortunately I've never owned one for two reasons.
#1 I'm not a new car buyer and there aren't many used Volvo for sale in my area.
#2 The reason there aren't many used Volvo for sale is because there's only one dealer and it is an hour away from me. I'd prefer to be able to service and maintain my vehicle locally.

Hello Nathan. Great video as usual. FYI, the photo of the Audi is an E Tron and not an A4 AllRoad. The other thing that would be nice to know is where these vehicles are made. Something to keep in mind since Volvo is owned by a Chinese company Geely. Thanks

I do love me a good wagon, always have . . . but a crushed vertebrae now has me driving a raised wagon (cough, cough, CUV) because of entry and exit issues.

Good review as always, Nathan.

It looks great
I presume this is made at their factory in
Sth. Carolina ?
I’d prefer the V90 CC
More room in row 2 and more cargo space.

I had a 2018 Volvo V60CC, I thought it was a good car. The redesign in 2020 really stepped up the appearance.

a honda accord wagon would be my ideal vehicle

Where you pointed to auto start-stop in the center console, I wonder if that is actually auto brake hold. If there is the ability to turn off auto start-stop, even if only per ride, I think that will be in the screen menu. Love seeing Volvo wagon reviews, great job.

Good Job as always Nathan, two drawbacks their infotainment system by most opinions is laggy and lousy, and since Geely Bought Volvo their cars are not very Reliable. But they have design charm anyway!

love wagons, but the major issue with station wagons from makers like: volvo, audi, vw, mercedes ..too expensive to service in the US, at least in Az they are...
