While clearing trees and brush in southeast TX for road construction an friend Vietnam vet 3 tours was on an open cab dozer when he hit a huge hollow oak that had a huge hive and needless to say he took off running and swatting at them he was stung over 250 times was found laying by the roadside covered.. some coworkers seen him thinking he was injured or a dead body covered with flies. They used a fire extinguisher to get them off getting stung themselves while putting him in pickup. He suffered a cardiac arrest was hospitalized for 2 1/2-3 months. After recovering came by the job site and said you know after serving and surviving 3 tours of combat and to come home and almost get killed by bees was crazy

That is super dangerous. A friend of mine was killed by a swarm of bees. And the worst part was, he didn’t even know he was allergic until it was too late… anaphylactic shock can kill you!!

Those Africaniized bees ain't no joke. I've been stung twice by them. The last time I got stung, it was on my left eye. The eye was practically closed shut for a couple of days. I put ice on it, took some Benadryl, and antibiotics to help it heal. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝
