Cape Colony
The Cape Colony, also referred to as the Cape of Good Hope, was a British colony located in present-day South Africa. It was named after the Cape of Good Hope and had two periods of existence. The first spanned from 1795 to 1802, and the second from 1806 to 1910. In 1910, it joined forces with three other colonies to form the Union of South Africa. Subsequently, it became known as the Cape Province. Even after South Africa became a republic in 1961, the Cape Province continued to exist until 1994, although it temporarily stood outside the Commonwealth of Nations from 1961 to 1994.

This is a great presentation but may I give one piece of constructive critique…? The background music is just a bit too loud and risks drowning out what is an excellent narrative. Dankie!

"Wars are made for 3 reasons - Zan, Zewar and Zamin" says an old Persian proverb. The translation is, 'Zan' is a woman, Zewar is precious jewels/metals, Zamin is land.
