From the color, those mangoes needed 2 more days to sweeten. They were probably a bit sour. Tip for buying really sweet mangoes? If you can smell the sugar from where it was attached to the branch, it's a good indication it's sweet. Also look for deep yellow (egg yolk yellow), not pale yellow (lemon yellow).
