How To Get New Live Channels On Google TV

Google updated the Google TV Live tab to ad options for a number of new sources that expands the choices of viewers using devices like the Chromecast with Google TV and updated TV sets.

To get the new live tv channels on Google TV you have to make sure that your device has the latest updates. Once you update the device the Live section will display new category sections built from multiple partner apps that offer free streaming feeds.

is very strange on my Chromecast TV dongles connected to my 3 TVS, shows this Google TV on my living room TV ...but my other 2 TVS is another rooms dont shows it, even made sure each devices is upgraded ..very strange

My Chromecast with Google tv only shows me on the " live" the Pluto tv channels.

Just bought a new Hisense U7K with Google TV, but it doesn't show the "Live" tab on the top so I can't get any free TV channels. Tried rebooting it but same result. I'm in Canada if that matters. Anybody have any ideas how to fix?

Is there a list of all paid subscriptions that have live TV channels that can be added to the live guide? It doesn't seem to exist. Looking for something that will throw all my paid subscriptions that offer live TV including ESPN+. I don't want to buy and realize it only allows Sling.

I'm using Google Chromecast with Google TV, but I don't get the LIVE menu. Does the LIVE menu only appear in certain areas? I live in Indonesia

I still haven't got in the update to the live tab. My live tab is still showing Pluto TV channels only. I hate when these features take forever to get on certain devices. Btw I'm in the US (East Coast) as well.

the update worked later on turned off my TV when I came back it had disappeared and when I went back to update it just stayed as the old version without the new update and told me my TV is already updated without the new features unable to get the new setup again

We have an HD home run flex Network over the air TV tuner and it would be lovely to have some type of integration to incorporate the live over-the-air channels into Google live. Then I will get rid of cable and only keep it just for the internet. I have a feeling that Google might never do that because it would compete against YouTube TV and thereby having a lot of people cancel their subscription for YouTube TV.

so august 2nd in the morning in tunisia i got for about a hour the icon of googletv with it's 77 channels using a vpn offcourse after that it went back to just pluto i guess they are implementing it so it's a work in progress lets hope it all come in place as soon as possible for everyone inside the us and for those wo use a vpn aswell
