A Guide to Change Streams for Building Event-Driven Systems on MongoDB (MongoDB World 2022)

MongoDB 6.0 brings significant improvements to Change Streams: before and after images of the changed document, efficient filtering of events, and new types of events reporting DDL operations. In this talk, I'd like to cover the basics of Change Streams, highlight the applicable business use cases, present new features, give an overview of the available tools, and answer some frequently asked questions.
