I literally had a black bear stomping and breathing heavily around my tent when I went camping not to long ago, he was castle running after my mom shoot an air horn and he climbed at the very top of a tree and once I went paddle boarding to this island the bear came swimming at me alone, so I had to paddle back to my parents and guess what- the scariest thing happened to me is that I fell over cuz I was panicking and the boat was wobbling and then There was this huge scary rock that’s as 14 ft tall or something cuz I was in the middle of the lake, I have thassalophobia (fear of the ocean or deep water or something in the water) and that’s to the point I screamed panicking so then this guy on a jet ski pulled me back 😭💀

I e had one sniffing at my tent 🏕️ more than once. I’ve gotten rid of both with the old “getata here”. I live in Massachusetts though so they are only black bears. Grizzly bears or brown bears you better have a gun, bear spray, or a bow. If not you may have a very very bad day😳 they are way more aggressive where I refer to black bears as giant stray dogs🤷‍♂️🤣 I’d be more afraid of a mountain lion 🤷‍♂️
