Common sense would be selling those bonds IMMEDIATELY as interest rates started to rise, but the guys working at banks are baffoons, they held on to them bonds as they lost value day by day knowing that they are gambling with peoples money, ..and when they saw their error, they just sold their stake from the bank and saved themselves, they deserve to get arrested
