Hi, this is a great vid, very helpful. But one issue I'm having - I want to extrude my curved edge along a straight line to a second curved shape, rather than extruding it along a curve. It won't allow me to select my straight line when asking for the first rail. Is there a way to extrude from one curved shape to a different shape along a straight line? Please help! thanks

the extrude tool does make face, instead make dots

When I try to use this with straight lines for the 'rails' I am unable to select them as rails - what am I missing?
