no mention of security? I don't know but I think that "air gap" between what I know about where I am, what I am thinking about or looking at, etc. is pretty important. Hardware that is connected, is always a security problem. An advertiser (or ad seller) would love to know if our eye movements show we spend much time on their ad. Are we paying attention to our screen when listening to something mostly audio? User profiling goes up.

my personal belief is to rather prioritize getting closer to the hardware then the hardware being closer to us. Why? because when the human being is close to the hardware we have better control over the machine where as the reverse, the machine has more power and control over us. I have chosen my path but not very optimistic of the trends we have where the machine internals are becoming more and more abstracted away from the user and the machine keeps getting closer and closer to us. Theres a reason why corps keep pushing for Virtual / brian sync, social media etc. they have more and more control and power over their users. Microsoft / Apple was the 1st step to distance their users from the operating systems like Unix at the time, now this trend is getting worse and worse till we reached the last step where we are being brain chipped literally with neuralink i find all this highly dangerous to the future of humanity. Especially with a psychopath like Elon Musk fearmongering people about the dangers of AI then recommending a solution of a brain chip to be more vulnerable by it??? WTF!??? I love some of the things Elon has done I am not trying to demonize him like electric vehicles to reduce climate change, but his tweets on the covid virus and plans with neuralink and spaceX etc these are all nihilistic towards humanity.

I've seen some good videos from you, and while I was mildly amused by this one, I'm left scratching my head by this one :-)
Maybe some phone apps, yeah. But those don't exactly run the world. Financial/accounting/payroll apps? Network engineering? Project management, billing, invoicing, etc?
Holo sounds nice, just be sure you have a very clean flat surface in front of you.
(ps: I'm only commenting on the things I have direct experience with over the 36yrs I've been a software engineer, and I am commenting only with a benevolent intent, no offense intended of course)
