Possession Game: 1 vs. 1 + 2 Neutral Players | Soccer Coaching Drill

Показать описание
Activity Flow:
1. Coach starts the action with a pass into the field of play
2. The player in possession attempts to play to the outside players and keep the ball as long as possible in his possession
3. The players on the outside are only allowed to play the ball to the player in the middle who played it to him, or to the other neutral player on the other side of the field
4. The defender tries to get the ball back as fast as possible
5. When the defender gets the ball, the possession changes and the neutral players play with the other player in the middle
6. When the ball leaves the field, the coach plays a new ball into the field - possession is based on normal football rules (example: if the red player kicks the ball out of the field, the blue player gets the ball)
7. There are no limitations on touches
Organization:
1. 6 cones and at least 2 bibs
2. Set up an approx. 8x12m field
3. Enough balls next to the coach
4. Two players in the middle of the field and the neutral players each on the outside (as in the image)
Coaching Points:
1. Player in the middle must keep moving and break away from the opponent so that he can be played to
2. Deception - Making more movements to move the defender to leave space to receive the ball in
3. Pay attention to the rest time - playing form in 1 vs. 1 very exhausting for the players in the middle (load time depending on the fitness level of the players approx. 60s)
Variations:
1. Easier - increase the size of the playing field
2. More difficult - limit of touches for outfield players (max. 2 touches when passing from outfield player to outfield player, the ball must be played directly)
3. Competition (ban pass from outfield player to outfield player): How many times does a player manage to pass the ball from outfield player to outfield player? Points for each shift of the side
