Trump stood defeated behind his podium. The only thing he could muster from his weary head was a single plea; calling out to the crowd, hoping he could say something to get them on his side. With tears welling up out of his eyes, he spoke.
"Obamna..."
A hush fell over the crowd. A statement this raw, this emotional, demanded a strong response from his opponent. As Trump wiped the tears from his eyes, the other man on the stage grinned.
Biden reached under his podium and grabbed for his secret weapon. In this war of attrition, it would take only one strong move to push the other over the edge. With a triumphant gleam in his eyes, Biden pulled a bottle of Coca-Cola skyward.
"SODAAA!!"
The yell cut through the crowd like a knife and there were brief moments of silence.
You could've heard a pin drop.
The people erupted in raucous cheers at this proclamation. Republican, Democrat, Centrist, all agreed with soda. Biden, knowing he had the full support of not just the stadium but of the nation, snatched a weapon from under his jacket.
The famed Soda Shotgun was pointed squarely at Donald J. Trump, and he closed his eyes in acceptance of his fate.

The Soda Popper is a community-created primary weapon for the Scout. It is a broken double-barrel shotgun similar to the Force-A-Nature, featuring several black bands around the stock and front as well as a band near the trigger guard, and slit barrels. A can of Crit-a-Cola is fitted underneath as a makeshift handguard.

The Soda Popper shares the reload function of the Force-A-Nature, in that it only has two shells per clip, reloads both shells at once, and discards any rounds still leftover in the chamber. It has a 25% faster reload time when compared to the Force-A-Nature, and fires twice as fast as the default Scattergun.

Equipping the Soda Popper places a "HYPE" meter on the HUD, which fills with damage dealt by any of the Scout's weapons, including the Sandman and Atomizer's Home Run taunt. It takes about 350 damage to fill up the HYPE meter, which is approximately 4 point-blank shots from the Soda Popper, 16 close range Pistol shots, or 10 swings from the Bat.

When the HYPE meter is full, pressing Alt-Fire (default key: MOUSE2) while the weapon is active activates Hype mode for 10 seconds, giving the Scout the ability to jump up to five times in mid-air (for a total of six jumps). When HYPE mode is initiated, the player hears the same noise as being hit with the Disciplinary Action, and the Scout's active weapon glows bright purple. In addition to the Scout's air jump particles turning purple, the Atomizer has no effect during Hype mode and does not grant an additional jump.
