Hi Poppy – my name is Louise and I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with advanced secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus – I’m also partially sighted I’m either bedbound or wheelchair bound ~ I think you’re doing absolutely ~ I’m totally with you as you mentioned you can’t wait for it to be cold again. Glad you’re feeling better! I’m due around the same time as you and the nausea/ sickness, especially in the first 3 months was just awful so I can completely sympathise!! ❤️❤️ hope you manage to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy xxxx

You give such a genuinely positive and calm vibe. I relate so well to your content and thoughts. I’m excited for autumn also and being able to wear comfy clothes and not feel like overheated death and encouraged to wear clothes I am not happy and comfy in. I am like you and would live in jumpers and dungarees/overalls or my current love is just leggings and hoodies in the fall/winter. I just ordered some fresh fall hoodies and leggings and some basic comfy big tees I can layer. I need some long sleeve layering tops and then kong sleeve but baggy longer for over leggings so seeking them in plus size women’s clothes.
I like the striped under shirts you hit for your jumpsuits and dungarees.
I just cooked my last summer nod and tomorrow the fall starts in earnest and I’m so here for it. Still warm but not hot anymore and some cooler days which I am so looking fwd to. I have lentil stew and apple crisp in my menu plans for later this week. The purple soup cracks me up. I’ve done that also!
Hope this finds you feeling well and your time with your family is fun working on the baby goods hunting and gathering. One thing I really recommend is an adjustable stroller handle for you both and when you wear various shoes.
Also car seats that can turn to face the side door when removing a baby is much nicer than twisting your torso lifting a heavy baby and breaking your back. Also handle on the baby carrier that allows you to keep your wrist parallel to your body for good body ergonomics.
Your antique shopping looks so fun. I’m envious of the time with your mum!
And the more storage in a dresser is helpful. You can always use it for out of size extra things, blankets and extra bedding. Spreading it out and not having to look for things is so nice when you are hurrying or have only one hand bc the other is carrying a baby.
You guys admiring the new shower head is funny. I can relate. My old place I got excited for just a new kitchen faucet after waiting and using an old crappy one. Love the cute traditional knobs. Good luck on the renos! Take care of yourself and go slow and steady. Take breaks for food and fluid and rest. You are growing a whole baby! Lol. ❤

I love your tile selections! I’m sure you guys did your research but make sure the ones for the floor are suitable for wet area flooring 💕 they look a bit high gloss and could be slippery. X
