This is probably the best version of Virat "the test batter" after his days of 2012-2014 because even from 2016-2019, he mainly used to rely only on cover drives in off side to get boundaries but in this series, he has played a few backfoot aerial boundary shots on the off side on pretty good balls which he did not even used to play in his 2012-2014 days when he was so fearless and used to play other shots but not off side backfoot shots.He even hit a few aggressive shots on pull shots today which was missing in his test game for last few years.
