Thinking back now to that actual performance of just those two with all of their interaction and facial expressions. This inspired that huh guys? That performance brings down the tears and inspires gatherings like this! Jaco wrote this so well man.

Hello guys,

This is Wayne Pierce, a fine art photographer and lover of jazz in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Yes, while you guys are generating such fantastic sounds in California, I am freezing my ass in the frozen north.

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know what a GREAT job you guys did in the studio on "Three Views Of A Secret"! I listen to jazz all day and half the night while I am working on my photographic post production processing. I have thousands of cuts in my playlists and you can bet I never miss one of Maurizio's smooth streams.

Tollak, your talent on the harmonica and your vocal contributions were outstanding on this production as well as being Maurizio's partner in the arrangement, mixing and mastering! Jimmy, you laid down a mean bass line for the guys to follow. Allen, your guitar work led the way through the entire piece in grand style. And Vinnie and Luis, the beat came through from beginning to the end, strong and right on tempo. And finally Phil, there is nothing in this world like the mellow sound of a horn to finish off a great tune and you did a mighty fine job.

Thanks guys for streaming this cut into my headphones. I will have this one on loop over and over and

Best wishes,
Wayne

My dear friend Maurizio, you did it again! What a fabulous lineup over here! With drummer #1 Vinnie. This sounds way better than the original amice! Please keep up this splendid work. Tip: ask bassist Jerry Watts jr for one of your next clips. Jerry played in the phenomenal band Wishful Thinking, which band l brought over to Holland (North Sea Jazz in 1990) with Vinnie on drums. I will never forget that day. And of course a great Tollak again with his good friend Allen Hinds. Wow!!❤️❤️

Thanks for the good music. BTW, if I can have a curiousity, am I right that Tollak used the CX-12 in Tenor C?
