Πυρ ομαδόν, από πολλούς διαφορετικούς χώρους στην Τουρκία, δέχεται ο πρόεδρος της Ταγίπ Ερντογάν, με αφορμή την κατασκευή της νέας διώρυγας της Κωνσταντινούπολης και την υπαναχώρηση από τη συνθήκη του Μοντρέ.
Η αρχή έγινε με την ανακοίνωση των 104 απόστρατων ναυάρχων, που ζήτησαν να μην παρθεί μία τέτοια απόφαση και επίσης να μην ισλαμοποιείται το στράτευμα.
Η απάντηση του Τούρκου προέδρου υπήρξε η αναμενόμενη.
