I lowkey hate that David harbour is the new hellboy. Not because he’s bad, but because he’s a great actor and guy and he got caught in such a bad movie.

Ron Perlman is such an underrated actor. He brought the same thing to Hellboy that RDJ brought to Iron Man. Pulling an anti-hero from comic obscurity to a mainstream hit purely from the natural charisma of the actor. The new Hellboy glaringly shows how important Perlman was to those movies.

Ron Perlman’s acting is what helped people take superhero movies seriously. He did a great job.

Heart breaking to hear Ron's thoughts on this. Hellboy 1 & 2 to me are the quintessential hero movies of the time. I grew up with Hellboy, Daredevil & The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen but Hellboy always stood out. Its obvious that Ron cared as much about the films as the fans and its a shame he didn't get to finish the series in the way he'd hoped
