The session (organised under the Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) 2.0 on 22 June 2021 as side event of the Research & Innovation Days 2021), which was divided into two parts, discussed the strategic role of regions and cities in the new European Research Area and presented the opportunities offered by Horizon Europe.
