Heres a great story of how this lily came to market and how it got it's name!

I just purchased bulbs of this flower today, 3/18/2024, from Walmart. The colors on the package caught my attention. The BEAUTY!!! So I've come to YouTube to learn how to take care of it. Wow, what a beautiful story of the naming of this beautiful lily.

I have tiger lilies and last year planted this lily, the, "Forever Susan" as you named it!

However after I planted them I forgot about them. Now they're popping up wonderfully this Spring and I was thinking that my tiger lilies mutated or had some wonderful hybridization going on. Soo happy I found your channel and learned of this naming of my new favorite flower. People pass by and say it's soo pretty they thought it was fake. 😆 🤣 but touching it and realizing the beauty is real is always the best part.

My wife's name is SUSAN (in Arabic language it is called SUZAN سوزان or SUZANA سوزانا). ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE MY ❤SUZANA❤ FOREVER 😊

Hi there! What a crazy coincidence, I was searching the internet to see how quickly I will see blooms from this plant and the person that named it lives 45 minutes from me!! This plant is such an eye catcher! I first saw the bulbs at Randy's Perennials and Water Garden in Lawrenceville and when I looked at the name I had one of those lightbulb moments...My best friend, Susan, is getting married soon and I thought it would be a sweet (and stunning) sentiment if I could somehow include this lily into her wedding bouquet or her groom's boutonniere. I am a novice at gardening...can you tell me how long your Forever Susan takes to flower from a bulb? Thank you! PS. What a sweet name :)
