If you are opening anything and see a bad luck streak forming, stop. Take a break. Open some small gifts, maybe hatch a cheap egg. When you notice better results from your 70 buck small gifts or cheap egg, go back and try opening your expensive boxes again.
I do this with rgb boxes and out of game boxes/eggs. You know when a server is hot, there are ultra rares spawning every other egg, it means a legendary is due... just remember, the server luck takes a dive after a legendary pops. It might bounce back after a few openings. If you get 2 leg, you're done on that server for a while.
