Excellent tutorial. I recently started using AD2 and like it, but i have been confused to why i need both Canva and AD2. This helped bunch. I appreciate your teaching style. Yes, do the crash course thing. Love it!!

Thank you for this tutorial Trent. I am a Canva user but have wanted to stretch my skills into more advanced programs. I was going back and forth between AI and AD but after your video on Adobe being sued I chose AD and purchased the full suite - with the 50% discount too! BUT then I got overwhelmed on where to start with AD - so this video has been very helpful to see how I can use AD for the particular work I do. Looking forward to watching more of your videos because you explain each step very well - even down to circling which particular tool you are using. Thank you very much.

I've often found myself running up against the limitations of Canva and wasting time trying to figure out workarounds. I picked up Affinity Universal a couple of days ago, mainly for Photo. I was thinking of using Photo instead of Canva until your stream popped up. I haven't done anything in Designer yet, but I will this week thanks to you!

Trent, great live stream today. But I have a couple of issues that I don't understand about the Assets Panel (and the Stock Panel.) In Design persona, when I check Assets Panel, it does not appear. In Design persona when I click Stock it doesn't show up either. However when I switch to Pixel persona it does show up, but I can't get the Assets Panel to show at all. I all so realized that I can't just drag and drop items from Canva directly into my Designer Project. I can down load from Canva to my computer and then bring them into my D2 doc. I have the latest Designer 2.5.2 and I am on a Windows desk top. Any clues or tricks to help me?? Thank you for your work
