Abstract: HeatWave is a massively parallel, high performance, in-memory query accelerator for Oracle MySQL Database Service that accelerates MySQL performance by orders of magnitude for analytics and mixed workloads. But how do you collect data from an Internet of Things Environment so you can use HeatWave to process it? In one hour you will see how data collected by a Raspberry PI or other Internet of Things device can be uploaded to the MySQL Database Service and then processed by HeatWave.
