For my 476th review, I discuss Logic's ambitiously conceptual sci-fi sophomore album.

I found this to be an AMAZING album. I dogged it more than Under Pressure. The lyrics, PRODUCTION, just everything. Definitely in my top 3 of the year.

I think this album is better than Under Pressure...I love the creativity...You hear the anime, space influence plus to have a cameo from an Anime LEGEND like Steven Blum directing the journey to the new world...The production & Logic's lyrics are more focused as far as flows & wordplay. It's different from Under Pressure where U.P. was is more creative sonically & musically great album #Salute

cool I love how you actually elaborate in detail the good vs bad and I'm never put off by your review. You might be the best Solo Reviewer of which I wish you did more Hip Hop Rap

I see your points about how the story doesn't match up with the music but if you listen to everything Logic said leading up to the album, he didn't intend for the two to be connected. He told fans going into it that the music was different from the story, which is why I had no problem with that aspect of the album.

Dude don't sleep on the new Ty Dolla $ign album Free Tc, trust me Blasé is the worst it gets. He got a lot of popular feaures, Trey Songz, Diddy, Kanye West, Fetty Wap, Rae Sremmurd, Future, R. Kelly, Jagged Edge, E- 40,   Brandy, James Fantleroy, Sevyn Streeter, Wiz Khalifa, SA-RA, PJ, and even KING KENDRICK LAMAR. He also included actual acoustice guitars. PLEASE REVIEW THIS ALBUM

Are you going to review Purpose by bieber? I have seen potential in his music and would like your opinion on his latest work.

the music acts as the soundtrack to the "film" not the other way around. it's not meant to make direct references at it was "created" around a century ago. Once you understand this, you'll understand the record a lot better.

I'd be interested in hearing what you're top 5 hip-hop albums are for the year, idk if you plan on doing that at the end of the year though haha.

You missed the point, the songs dont relate to the journey they are currently on, its just simply the two listening to a "classic" album, passing time while trying to find that planet thingy

Ok, you HAVE to do Purpose. It's not even a question, it's the #1 album.

Hi Mark! I recommend checking out the recent album by Celldweller, Titled "End of an Empire".

If you compare each song from this album and Under Pressure you'll see how much of an improvement it was.

I'm not even a fan of Drake but he's light years ahead of Logic, I don't know what your smoking.

Im not sure he understands the concept of I am the greatest, if you look at his interview published by hardknock, he explains that he means he is the greatest at being him, he doesn't really care about what ppl think, he's doing him, he just wanted to have fun with this album

Also I'm really sick of everybody complaining that his sound is similar. Every hip-hop artist uses samples that have been used dozens and sometimes hundreds of times. I didn't listen to this album and compare it to anything else because it's logic's album, it sounds great and it took a lot of hard work to make an album that sounds like a movie, which is seldom done in hip-hop music. Idk where people started listening to music and saying "this sounds like that" as if its news. If that is really holding you back from enjoying music then find a new genre. Clearly you don't love music if you hate on someone because they have a similar sound. It's hip-hop for Christ's sakes. Everybody has a similar sound.
