Official POV - Vortex - Canada's Wonderland

Riders will enjoy the thrills of this steel coaster as it travels around Wonder Mountain, reaching speeds of 80km/h. Vortex is a suspended roller coaster, where riders are taken up through the top of the mountain and dropped at high speeds, plunging down towards the body of water below, narrowly missing it.

There needs to be more mid scary level roller coasters like this one at the park. Cause the way it is now, after Vortex and a couple others, you're either goin' on a kiddy ride like Taxi Jam or you're goin' upside down twice or down a 300ft drop.

One of the best coasters at Wonderland! Gotta ride from the front.

I seriously underestimated this ride when I first went on it. The video doesn't do justice to how intimidating that first drop is. If I went on it again I probably wouldn't be as afraid, but still, I like being surprised by rides.

🎢It’s the exact layout as The Bat at Kings Island! But in the middle of the park in a nice spot instead of far away from everything else and deep in the woods!👍

This is a really solid #4 in the park. Great for people who are too afraid to ride the big 3 (Leviathan, Yukon Striker and Behemoth).
