I think the notch hiding feature will make up for the notch

I thought the notch was slightly smaller from that of the iPhone. Now as i see them close to each other i notice how the notch is way smaller on the p20

I could be wrong but I preffer the Huawei 1000% more.. personal preference but bigger phone, bigger battery cheaper, better design "own opinion" and overall more practical in general..

I dig that idea of integrating the notch with notification bar by making it black. I hope everybody else that plans to try "the notch" comes with that option!

The Essential phone was the first to use a notch. Apple was second. In comparison to the P20, Apple did a bad job because their notch interferes with 18:9 content. At 1000 dollars the consumer should've been given more. I take my hat off to Huawei, the P20 has a better notch than the iPhone and Essential phone. But having said that, personally this notch thing is a little silly looking.

Using a Samsung galaxy s5, idc about a damn notch lol... My son has a honor & it's an awesome phone! Love my samsung but at the difference in price, I will try the p20 pro

Android did have this swipe down control center in one side and notifications on the other side and as the Apple approach it sucks on newer devices since the top left isn't easy to reach without shimming the phone in one hand or use two hands.
