Nifty Hits All-Time High! | Sensex Jumps 200 Pts, Nifty Above 18,900 | Opening Bell

India's benchmark index Nifty hit an all-time high on Wednesday. At 9.15 am, Nifty opened at 18,908 and was trading near the 18,900 level shortly after the market opened. On Tuesday, HDFC and HDFC Bank announced that the merger of the two entities will take place on July 1. This is the first time since December 1 that Nifty has traded at these levels.
