I don’t know what’s more amazing; the tornado hitting the studio; or the fact that people were still driving down I-4 like nothing was happening.

You could really tell he was trying to stay calm, but inside he was breathing heavily but stood his ground. Handled it like a champ!

Sheesh, that dude didn't miss a beat ! He went straight into protection mode. He completely put his focus on his co workers, telling them to get under their desk and get in the safe place. While his co-workers took shelter, He stayed put, controlled his anxiety, and continued to warn everyone around about the tornado and where exactly it was.. He deserves a BIG raise and tons of recognition.. I really hope his co-workers and emplyer really took the time to show him love and appreciation !!

That weatherman is a boss! He never stopped reporting to the weather service and warning viewers about where the tornado was and is going.

the way he immediately told his colleagues to take shelter or hide under their desks, and didn't panic at all 👏

1984. I was a weather forecaster stationed at Scott AFB, Il, just outside St. Louis. Had a near identical situation, where a tornado hit the base. I had Mr. Lacina, from base ops, activate the warning sirens. My telephone board lit up like a Christmas tree. The tornado hit the base exchange, and put the roof into the parking lot. 76 cars damaged or destroyed, with no significant injuries. An hour later, I had a four star general shaking my hand, and thanking me. I was told I saved dozens of lives, as a minimum. I have felt good about this, since. I know EXACTLY how this weatherman felt. Keep your composure, and EAT your panic, and do your job.

What an amazing broadcaster maintaining such calm while directing employees to get into their safe place during a tornado hit.

He was genuinely scared but did an excellent job in reporting it live. Felt his nerves rattle which makes him human of course, but never stuttered or totally lost his cool 👍👏👏👏

Dude never stopped and barely blinked. That would be boss under any circumstances, but the fact that this is in Florida makes that much more outstanding. AND he worried about his colleagues and co-workers while staying on-air himself. Kudos to him! That's a man you can count on in every situation.

Genuinely impressed by how calm this meteorologist remained while the tornado actually hit the news station. Even more impressed by how he continued keeping viewers updated while the tornado hit them.

The way this man kept calm and didn’t stop reporting, even though you could tell he was a freaking out inside is admirable! Professionalism at its finest!

This is a good meteorologist. Kudos to him for the way he handled that. I used to live in Orlando, and later in Altamonte Springs, and I never experienced anything this bad in the 7 years I was there.
