After watching your video, I raised my chair up a few inches. Now my arm is nearly in line with the table and my wrist does not even touch! This is huge! Thank you for the sound advice!

This video was literally all I needed to be able to immediately relieve the pain I was getting on the pinky side of my hand whenever I tried to use my "ergonomic" mouse. I still have a lot of habit-breaking to do, but the simple act of lifting my pisiform bone off of the desk has made it so much easier to do my job!

Steve,
One of the most professional explaining, even if I am not a gamer, just a beatmaker, and editing a lot on my computer, this was very useful.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for this! I was looking for an ergonomic mouse to minimise any repetive strain injury on my fingers while editing but stumbled across this video. I immediately raised my chair so that my arm was back in line with my desk. Grabbed a rolled up tshirt to use under my wrist and already I'm way more comfortable at my desk. Thank you Steve!

Follow his advice. I've been using my mouse in a non-ergonomic way for years (not gaming, but for work and social media) and I've developed carpal tunnel syndrome in both my hands. Went under rehab twice and took medicines but the pain didn't go away. Now I invested in a good vertical mouse and planning on upgrading my mechanical keyboard to an alice layout. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome may not seem so serious but when it's there, it's always there and it's very annoying especially that we use our hands in our daily lives.

A bit of advice that helps me sometimes: Lower your mouse sensitivity. This will cause you to move your mouse from the shoulder instead of using the wrist.

Excellent, straight forward and informative video! Now I know the reason for the swelling/protruding bone (pisiform) on my right wrist. Pretty painful. I just hope it heals.
