I've read about this and seen many documentaries about this accident but to see it re-enacted like this all I could say was "My God!"

The most significant hardware change to the Apollo spacecraft as a result of the fire involved replacing the difficult-to-open three-piece hatch with a unified hatch that could be opened from inside or outside the spacecraft in three seconds

The Apollo 1 fire happened on 01/27/67. Yet just over two years later, they landed Apollo 11 on the moon? Hogwash. They troubleshooted, redesigned, and fixed everything in just over 2 years? No. They gave up and it became a studio production.
