I definitely didn't ask for an unwed pregnancy announcement from my sister for Christmas. You should tell her that her getting pregnant is in no way a gift to you. That is some cheap narcissistic bs right there. I could see doing that to the father of the child, but not your brother. I would ask her again what she got from her secret santa, and say "oh yeah, a $100 dollar gift card is definitely equal to a stick you peed on. I'll make sure if I get you for secret santa gifts in the future to take your "gift" into account. How do you like poop on a stick?"

Secret Santa story: I typically go against the person complaining about a gift they receive due to it being the thought and not the material that counts. However, this wasn’t a gift. It was a sucky, cheap, and disgusting low blow the sister pulled in OP. She decided to pull a fast one on OP where she didn’t have to spend a dime and put him in a no win situation. If he kept his mouth shut, she wins. If he complains and calls her out on her disgusting behavior, everyone calls him heartless and tells him to sit down and shut up because a baby is more important than any gift, which again she wins. She’s a terrible person. OP, you’re NTA. And I would question my relationship with her from now on. Not because she shorted you a gift, but because of the fact that she felt comfortable pulling this stunt on you.

2 full grown adults surviving off the ex-husband's alimony is disgusting. The ex wife needs to get a full-time job and she has her new boyfriend to help with the bills since they moved in together. They even gave away half of her son's room, so soon she won't have to worry about that child when he goes and lives with his father. Oops...there goes that child support. I guess mommy's meal ticket from the guy she divorced is finally coming to an end. At least she still has the house he bought. Heather should be absolutely thrilled when she receives unused pregnancy tests. Be sure to announce that you are bringing the family together so she can provide that test with her per on it for your mom or dad for her next kids.

I question if it’s even legal for her to contact her federal employee friend to look up information and do a background search on people so to me that already says that the friend is shady and willing to break rules and laws
