Mazda RX-8 Warmup rev limiter / mazdaedit

changed params: 60 degrees, 4000rpm
stock params: 20 degrees, 5500 rpm - which makes this feature nearly useless

The r3 and s2s will have an extra light to let you know how far u can rev while warming up

I've donde the same to mine, only that I've set it to rev up to 4k rpm until the water temp gets to 80°C instead. More peace of mind and plenty of revs in case that I need to get moving I wished that it could be done in a more escalated way with the stock ECU but this is way better that not having a limiter at all

My 07 rx-8 has no rev limiter at all, I can redline it soon at starts up, is something wrong with it? It’s the sport trim if that matters

Ive done the same to mine except 3k you rly shouldnt go above 3k in any engine with cold oil

I have never tried it personally when i first start it i have a s2 model i normaly wait 5 mins to warm up before i drive it

Mine just lets me blast it straight to redline with no warm-up.
