Windows 11 2022 Update (22H2): Top 5 Changes!

The Windows 11 2022 Update, also known as Windows 11 Version 22H2, is finally here and available to all Windows 11 starting today! I just got it installed on my laptop, so let's take a look together and see what the biggest changes are with this update.

I think the time that I switch to 11 might be drawing closer with this update.

My favorite thing is that now you can scroll on the Sound icon in the taskbar and it goes up and down, best thing ever

One thing I kinda didn't like about Drag and Drop feature which is if only Microsoft had enabled us to drag pinned apps from Start menu to the taskbar it's pretty fast than heading into "All apps" section.

In 22h2 you can't move the taskbar to top! Even the registry hack doesn't work any more! Is there any way to fix that? It was working in Windows 11 21h2.

What is up with the random two home icons in the file explore navigation? Is this a bug? Happens to me.

There are so many problems with this. Some things are improving, some have gotten worse.

The main issue is, although the UI design is pretty good, the actual programming is poor. Look how long it takes just to show content in the file explorer. Embarrassing for the engineering team, surely.

The new volume thing - it's way too slow to move. They should make it faster. Use some simple heuristics, such as 2.5s end to end when holding down the volume key, with finer changes in value being available by tapping the key, or by mouse/touch.

Another issue which is insanely poor, is that even in dark mode, when you open a new window, it flashes bright white first.

I forced the 22H2 update & everything was ok, except Hyper V would not turn on, my bluestacks & other emulators were incompatible, I tried everything to fix it, no luck, I had to go back a build & everything worked again.

Dont update. If u are a gamer, lot of games in future wont work because TPM. I tried Fifa 23 and Valorant, only in windows 10, because not everybody has secure boot on their cpu
