Winning 2 slams in the same slam - what an achievement for Hsieh! So well-deserved! Honestly their SF match was truly the final. Huge letdown for Kichenok for how she did today, surely she'll be disappointed with her poor performance. She was clearly fighting metal battles today and Ostapenko really had to carry for her and Kichenok, surely Jelena had frustrations towards Kichenok. Interested to see if the two will continue their partnership this year despite some great successes so far in 2024. Regardless Hsieh and Mertens deserve all the praise for their stellar performance at AO and they deserve to return back to the top of the rankings board!
