first i get to know about this formula using akra bazzi theorem and now using linear algebra, fibbonacci series is as amazing as your lectures

Very enlightening example 🙌🏻. Yet how do we go about choosing the right initial vector to start with?

It seems that if you happen to choose another order for the initial input vector, i.e. instead of transpose([an-1, an]) choose transpose(an, an-1), you consequently have to change the matrix from [[1, 0], [1, 1]] to [[0, 1], [1, 1]]. Yet this is a shear matrix and hence the Eigenvalue decomposition fails...

What is the reason for premultiplying RHS by matrix [1 0] . to extract a_subscript(n) ? Can you justify it ?
