I had an appendicitis when I was 11 I think. It was the scariest thing. I couldn’t eat, my stomach hurt, i was shaking uncontrollably. My mom took me to the ER. I was there for a bit they checked me out, confirmed my mom appendicitis suspision after a very painfull ultrasound and sent me to the childrens ward of another hospital where they said no, you dont have an appendicitis your just dramatic. My mom was upset and adament about the appendicitis, and i got numerous excruciatingly painful ultrasounds. They continued to deny. Finally, a new doctor or a more concerning ultrasound I'm not sure, finally confirmed. My appendix had almost burst because of their stupidity. I was in a lot of pain and FINALLY got into surgery and had it removed. I healed quickly(i typically do) but that was a crqzy experience for all of us, and honestly I dont trust the healthcare system. They just gaslight you for whats convenient for them.
