My favorite scene in avatar was so emotional it was when neytiri saved jake with the mask and when she’s holding him in her arms seeing real human jake for the very first time and he says “I see you” and she says “I see you, jake” and OH MY GOD my eyes started flooding tears

Although some will disagree. Avatar in my opinion was the best adventure movie i have ever seen. It opened a lot of doors for new motion capture films. Just imagine what kind of movie we will have in the future/soon.

You can't help but get emotional when the tree has fallen and everything goes silent and you see all the Na'vi grieving over the dead and injured amongst the fire embers and smoke.

You know, it's still amazing to me how much of Zoe's soul was captured in Neytiri.

Like Titanic, despite what SOME PEOPLE think, Avatar has a wonderful story and it was brilliantly told. James Cameron is definitely the king.

I don't think any movie's topped Avatar in animation/mocap quality. A lot of the cg looks fake but the alien face expressions all look real

The world of Pandora and the story of these people was always so real to me. It draws you in and will grip you by the heart. I've seen this movie several times in the last 6 months because I am a film student and choose to focus on James Cameron's Avatar as my main inspiration. He is a phenomenal writer and director. Avatar will remain one of my favorite franchises of all time.

When I watched this movie for the first time in cinemas in 2009, somewhere in me, some small part of me couldn't help but wonder...could the Na'Vi actually be real? Even my parents wondered the same haha. That's how believable the CG was (and still is).

wtf. Eight years later and nothing has touched the special effects in this movie. For some reason I thought since they were able to do it for this, that by now, they'd be able to cg pretty much anything. But just saw rogue one and the five seconds of cg people in that movie were trash compared to this... a whole freaking movie of cg people. wtf. james cameron secretly using future tech in his movies or something. y else are the special fx in his movies always fifty years ahead of everyone else? The special effects in the frickin ABYSS STILL HOLD UP! WTF?

Wow...I have been enchanted by the film ever since I saw it for the first time in the theatre and I must say that it is just mind blowing how real the Na'vi appear. It blew me away! Thank you James Cameron for making the movie experience more than just a movie..it was an experience.
