Growing Jalapeno Time Lapse - Seed to Fruit in 126 Days

This one was also affected by the earlier infestation of tiny white bugs that i had in the studio. It held back the growth of the plant tremendously. You can actually see when i managed to defeat them at day 90 (0:56) but then i started slacking and they came back a month later at the end of the video.

But as usual even though the plant didn't look the best the video turned out quite nice so I'm happy :)

Watching this video felt so free, smooth, refreshed, can't get the words out.
How beautiful growth is!

I've been a huge fan of your time lapses for a while now and regardless of the bug problem causing slow growth, this cheered me up because a pepper plant of mine had a similar problem, but it bounced back and thrived after the problem was taken care of. I even topped it recently and it grew back twice as strong. 🎍💙

Couple things you could do if you wanted to increase production:

- top the plant once it gets about a 8 inches tall. This will help it focus it's energy on growing leaves and flowers/fruits rather than growing a tall stem

- when the plant is young and gets it's first 10-15 flowers or so remove them, once again allowing the plant to focus it's energy on bushy growth. When the plant is more mature you will have many more flowers, a better chance at them being pollinated, and bigger fruit as well.

given how long each of these videos take, I wonder how many plants that you record at the same time? 🤔

Thank you for including the days. There are so many videos of plants growing but I have no idea how long it takes from bud to flower to fruit because it’s just sped up with no concept of time! This was really helpful. I wish there was one for Tabasco, as that’s what I’m working on.

🙌😳
I grow plants and also take pics/vids/timelapses (but have never done long plant-growth timelapses).
So, I can only imagine the patience, work and time this takes. Bravo!

This plant grew in my compost bc my compost is basically on top of a bed of soil. I just dump leftover fruit peel and other food stuff there and boom! Jalapeños! It was a wonderfully unexpected treat ^^

I would love to see roses of different colors come to life, and bloom; one red, yellow, pink, and white; side-by-side.
You do an amazing job. *Thank you* for all the time and effort that you put into each of these for us to enjoy. *God bless.*

Be really interesting to see a plant grown this way and a hydroponic one next to it. Maybe a clay pebble recirculating system or even kratky with an air stone.
