I have never understood the buzz around Halloween. Some people dress up and...thats it. What's so special about it? I never went out for it when I was a kid and I'm 22 now. The last few years my house have had between 5 and 10 kids per year knocking on the door. The number has been going down each year as my house is on a hill and there are loads of estates all around it so the kids tend to go there. But this year, we didn't get a single kid knocking on the door. It was peaceful bliss.

I am personally indifferent towards Halloween, but I understand why people like it. Just because some of you all don't like it doesn't mean the world revolves around you. Don't be a fucking grinch. Let people have their fun! Don't like it? Then simply don't participate. I never understood why people that dislike something so strongly feel the NEED to let the world know as if the world revolves around them and bring everyone else down for no reason other than simply because they have a strong dislike/resentment towards it. A fair opinion or reason why? Sure. But no one cares to hear why you hate something and then complain about it endlessly.
