As a hijabi in Texas, I personally understand the struggle of finding decent, modest clothing that breathes well in the hot Summer heat. Thankfully after three years of wearing the hijab, I have learned a lot of information that will be especially helpful for this situation.

2. Garments made of natural fibers like cotton, flax linen, silk, etc.
8. Open shoes (slides, mary janes, open toe heels)

Thanks for this lovely video. I love it. I wear only dresses and skirts so I have 7 dresses, 4 Skirts, 5 abayas 7 kiminos, and 5 jogers. I have lots of flip flops and few flats. Your hijab is gorgeous where you get it from ?

Alsalamu Alakauim Allah bless and Protect you Ameen sister. I wear flip flops and flats and Everytime I do Indian muslims always stare at me with dirty looks and roll there eyes at me always the Indian's never the Arab or other Muslims happens to me everyday it's annoying.

Silk really. I wasn't expecting that. Isn't silk not very breathable and a bit sticky to use. Not being disrespectful or rude if I may come a cross that way I don't mean to. But I had a silk sqaure scarf. I love those silk floral scarfs but last year I ended up with quite bad heat rash all around under my chin and around my neck where the scarf wraps around.

Just looked up those jeans quite nice actually, not too 60s and not too skinny. I'm England everything is now either skinny or super skinny. How do these girls get those things on I have no idea. So I don't wear jeans at all. I want to get those pants (trousers we call them trousers) that look like a flowy maxi skirt. Thinking about it. Tho I may be looking into levi jeans because my husband said levi is a good brand for denim. I don't know I always find denim really stiff and rough material.

Definitely do that video on how to wear jeans. There are some pictures on the interned but to me I don't know maybe I'm too modest. But I don't think tight jeans and snug fit tops are modest
