If your Oscilloscope has a decoding option for SPI and I2C to decode the SPI and I2C buss, how does a electronic test technician know if the SPI buss and I2C buss is good or bad from looking a viewing the decoding information on the Oscilloscope. Mostly the Oscilloscope will decode the SPI and I2C buss in a hexidecial value but how does a electronic test technician what test to do after this? do you do a checksum on the SPI and I2C buss to test it?

Yes any oscilloscope will display if the SPI or I2C buss is distorted or glitch. I'm talking about the Oscilloscopes that can Decode the SPI and I2C buss and displays the hexidecimal values of the Decoded SPI and I2C buss, how would a electronic test technician know that the decoded values decoded data is correct or corrupted or bad or good? what is there to look at for when viewing the decoded SPI and decoded I2C data to know if its bad, corrupted or good?

what do you mean by speaking, speaking as in what? the ID message to the IC chip

EAPBG, when writing a I2C and SPI diagnostics program to test each IC chip one by one, what do you need to do this? just need to Ping the chips ID number for each 12C and SPI IC chip one by one to test each chips one by one?
